Week 1–2 - Intro to Animate & Interface
- Workspace tour
- Timeline, Stage, Layers
Week 3–4 - Drawing & Symbols
- Drawing tools
- Convert to symbols (graphic, movie clip, button)
Week 5–6 - Motion Tweens & Classic Tweens
- Create movement, scale, rotation
Week 7–8 - Frame-by-Frame Animation
- Onion skinning
- Simple character or object motion
Week 9–10 - Interactive Elements (optional)
- Add buttons, stop/play actions (optional for test prep)
Week 11–12 - Certification Prep + Project Work
- Animate practice tests
- Mini animation project
Week 13 - Adobe Animate Certification Review
- GMetrix or Certiport practice tests
Week 14 - Exam Week
- Students take the Animate Certification Exam
The Adobe Certified Professional (ACP) exam for Animate focuses on:
Understanding panels, timeline, stage
Setting project properties (frame rate, dimensions)
Drawing with the Pencil/Brush/Shape tools
Using and editing Symbols (especially movie clips)
Motion Tweens (position, rotation, scale)
Frame-by-frame animation
Easing and timeline effects
Export to SWF, HTML5 Canvas, or video
Previewing and testing animations
Layers, grouping, renaming assets
Organizing symbols in Library
