Step 1: Create the Brand
Go to the Adobe Express Home Screen (click the "Express" logo in the top left corner if you are in a project).
On the left-side menu, click Brands.
Click the button Create Brand (or "Create Brand Kit").
Name your Brand: Type the name of your fictional company or campaign.
Click Create.
Step 2: Upload Your Logo
Look for the section titled Logos.
Click Add logo.
Upload the .PNG file of the logo you designed.
Tip: Make sure your logo has a clear background (checkerboard), not a white box!
Step 3: Define Your Color Palette
You need a consistent set of colors so your ads look like they belong together.
Look for the Colors section and click Add colors.
Option A (The Pro Way): If you already know your specific Hex Codes (e.g., #FF5733), type them in.
Option B (The Easy Way): Use the Eyedropper tool to pick the exact colors directly from the logo you just uploaded.
Select a Primary Color (your main brand color) and a Secondary Color (for accents).
Click Save.
Step 4: Choose Your Typography
Pick 2 fonts maximum: One for attention-grabbing headlines, one for easy-to-read body text.
Look for the Fonts section.
Under Header, click to choose a font that matches your brand's "vibe" (Bold, strong, or fancy).
Under Body, choose a font that is clean and easy to read (like a sans-serif).
Now that you did the hard work, here is how to use it:
Open any new project (Flyer, Instagram Post, etc.).
Click Brands on the left toolbar.
Select your campaign name.
Click your logo to drop it instantly onto the canvas.
Click your colors to instantly apply them to shapes or backgrounds.
Click your text styles to automatically use your chosen fonts.
The student who created the Brand Kit must do this:
Go to the Adobe Express Home Screen.
Click Brands on the left menu.
Hover your mouse over the Brand Kit you want to share.
Click the three dots (...) that appear on the Brand card.
Select Share (or "Invite people").
Enter the Email Addresses of your group members.
Note: You must use their exact school email addresses.
Change the permission dropdown to "Can Edit" (so they can use the assets).
Click Invite.
The other students need to know where to look, or they will think it didn't work.
Teammates will receive an email notification (and usually a notification inside Adobe Express).
They must click Brands on the left menu.
Crucial Step: At the top of the Brands page, they might need to switch the tab from "My Brands" to "Shared with you" to see it.
Once they see it, they can use the logo, colors, and fonts in their own projects immediately.
If a student says, "I shared it, but they can't see it!" check these two things:
Check the "Shared with you" tab: This is the #1 reason students think it's broken. It doesn't always show up in the main list.
Refresh: Adobe Express is web-based. Sometimes the teammate just needs to hit F5 (Refresh) to see the new permissions update.
