This web page will give you options on how to design a logo using Adobe Express
Set the Stage (The Blank Canvas)
Click the big "+" button (or "Create New") at the top left.
Select Custom Size. Type in these dimensions:
Width: 1000 - Height: 1000 pixels
Click Create New Project.
Name the Project: Click the title at the top (it usually says "Untitled") and name it: [Project Name] Logo.
Use the pull down menus below to reveal the different ways you can design a logo in Express in your blank canvas.
VERSION 1: THE EDITED TEMPLATE WAY
Add Your Icon (The "Logo Creation" Part)
On the left sidebar, click on Elements (look for the shapes/triangle icon).
Click Icons (or "Shapes" for more abstract looks).
In the search bar, type your specific symbol (e.g., "Lightning Bolt").
Why this matters: Unlike AI which guesses what you want, here you can scroll through hundreds of variations (thin, thick, jagged, smooth) and pick the exact one that fits your brand's vibe.
Drag your favorite bolt onto the canvas.
Add Your Text
Click Text on the left sidebar.
Click "Add your text".
Type "JOLT" or whatever you want the logo to say.
Use the panel on the right to change the font. (Tip: For an energy drink, look for "Display" or "Sans Serif" fonts that look bold and fast).
Assemble and Polish
Color: Click your lightning bolt icon. On the right panel, find "Fill" and change it to the color you want. Do the same for your text.
Arrangement: Move the icon around. Try placing it inside the a letter or sitting above the text or whatever looks cool.
Group: Hold Shift and click both the text and the icon. Click "Group" on the left. This lets you resize them together.
Download
Click Download in the top right.
Crucial Step: Choose PNG and toggle "Transparent Background" on. This ensures your logo isn't stuck inside a white white box when you put it on a mockup later.
VERSION 2: THE AI - Text Prompt WAY
Create the Art
On the left sidebar, click Media.
Click the Text to Image tab (Generative AI).
Type a Prompt: (e.g., "A black and white icon of a lightning bolt with a circle around it”).
Choose a Style: Select "Art" or "Graphic" (avoid "Photo" if you want it to look like a logo).
Generate: Click the button. Four options will appear.
Add to Canvas: Click the one you like. It will appear on you white square.
Remove Background: With the image selected, click Remove Background so it's a clean cutout without a white box around it.
You will likely need to try this several times at least to get something you’re happy with.
Create the Name (Text Effects)
Click Text on the left sidebar.
Click "Add your text" and type the brand name.
Try using fonts they have… OR….
With the text selected, look at the settings panel on the left (or right, depending on version) for Text Effects.
The "Fun" Factor: Type a material prompt like "glitch" "electric," or "pixelated."
Express should transform the letters into that texture.
Combine & Save
Move the icon and text so they look good together (e.g., icon on top, text below).
Download: Click Download > PNG (Transparent Background).
HOW TO IMPORT YOUR LOGO AS A BRAND TO USE ON ALL YOUR PROJECTS
Go to the Home Screen (not inside a project).
Click Brands on the left-side menu.
Click Create Brand (or "Create a Brand Kit").
Name it (e.g., "Nike Campaign" or your fictional company name).
Under the Logos section, click Upload and select your PNG.
Bonus: You can also set their project colors and fonts here.
The Payoff: Now, when you are inside any project (flyer, video, webpage), you just click the "Brands" tab on the left, and your logo is sitting there, ready to drag and drop instantly.
