SAMPLE FOR UNDERSTANDING
You can get all these answers in your assignment instruction slides for each project.
1- Project Title: Food Truck Marketing
(This is just the name of your project on the first page of your slide instructions.)
2- Deliverables: Web Page
(The specific, tangible items you hand over to the client (or teacher) at the end. A web page will almost always be your answer here.)
3- In Scope: Logo, Flyer, Instagram Ad all presented on a webpage.
(This is the entire plan that defines the boundaries of the project. It normally includes the timeline, the budget, the goals, the tasks, and the deliverables. BUT I have separated this below so you can just write the items I'm requiring you to put on your webpage)
4- Out of Scope: A television Commercial, entire website, etc
(This is to protect you from your client expecting more work that you did not agree to up front. This is called "Scope Creep" when clients ask for more. This is an exam question.)
5- Milestones: On Wednesday the logo and flyer will be done.
(Here you should write what you'll have done by mid-week.)
6- Budget: 5 class periods
(In this class we are not using money, but our budget is TIME. Your budget is usually 5 days.)
7- Deadlines: Friday, Jan 30th
(This is when your entire project is due which is usually Friday, so put Friday's date.)
8- Resources: A computer with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Express, Stock Photos, etc.
(This is what you need to complete the project. List ONLY the software you need for each project.)
9- Stakeholders: Mrs. Oakes, Ms. Taylor
(These are the people that you have to get approval of. The test might ask you about "Stakeholder Alignment" which is when you get your client to sign and agree to this contrat to make sure the project scope and deliverables are agreed on.)
10- Target Audience: Teenagers from 14-18 who like video games and junk food snacks. Mostly boys.
(These are the people that will be most interested in buying your product or service. Your design style should reflect what they like.)
